Worship is an
important part of the life of the church and we meet regularly on
Sunday mornings and evenings to worship together as a church fellowship.
Sunday
Morning, 10-30am
Morning services are an opportunity to praise God and listen to what he
has to say to us. Worship is led by a worship leader along with
the Worship Group who play a variety of musical instruments. The
worship area is equipped for multimedia and this is used as part of the
service.
Sermons
are recorded and
sermon
notes are also
placed afterwards on the website. There is an opportunity
after the service to pray individually with someone from the Prayer
Team. Morning
worship includes a Creche for young children
and Sunday C-kers (3-11). We have All-Age Services about 6
times a year on
key occasions. Special needs are
catered for by large print versions of the
songs, ramps on key access points, disabled toilets and a loop system
in the main part of the church. Refreshments are
served after
the service and this is a great opportunity to get to know one another.
Sunday Evening,
6-30pm This is an informal
service of worship, prayer, looking
at the Bible in a little more depth and discovering what God is doing
in our
community and in the wider world. The service is usually
held in the Schoolroom.
Worship
Team
We have a Worship Team who are responsible for morning worship in
particular, and who meet regularly to practice hymns and songs and
prepare themselves spiritually through worship, prayer and exploring
the Bible . Those with a gift or call in the area of
worship should talk to Simon in the first instance.
