As we walk in the light of the resurrection after Easter Sunday, Paul’s words in Thessalonians carry a deeper resonance. The resurrection of Jesus isn’t just a moment in history—it’s a promise. Because Christ rose, so will we. Our grief over those who’ve “fallen asleep” is not without hope. The tomb is empty, and death has lost its sting.

Each day after Easter is a chance to live as resurrection people—anchored in hope, unwavering in faith, and assured that life triumphs over death. Jesus’ victory is our inheritance, and through Him, we’re united with all believers—past, present, and future. Amen
